Project Engineer - MW Specialist
Knowledge required:
Extreme knowledge in Microwave (TX network, Mux Hit/SRA4, Link Flexi Hopper/FPMR, Leased Line, Route data and troubleshooting) is required.
NR35 certification is mandatory
• Responsible for the TI implementation, quality, cost and timely rollout volume commitments in zone.
• Management and support of the TI subcontractors. Ensures implementation activities and quality meet project requirements and targets.
• Responsible for equipment commissioning.
• Integration management and support to G-NIC team.
• Site Quality assurance.
• Manages all implementation activities and subcontractors teams in a zone.
• Review and approve Site specific drawings (site lay out equipment installation drawings).
• Management and performance follow up of service supplier teams.
• Follow and report the work progress related to time schedule and quality to zone manager and escalate the deviations.
• Following up the time schedules and checking if the work is executed according to plan and escalations to project management as needed.
• Make sure site implementation is done properly by subcontractor.
• Ensure site implementation quality.
• Coordinate and make the supervision of the subcontractors work.
• Supports Field Manger to prepare / update roll-out schedule.
• Providing installation status reports regularly to project team.
• Reporting to project team of foreseeable problems/all deviations from the original planning, i.e. Extra works, delays, cancellations, etc.
• Support Field Manager in preparing Quality Plan .
• Support start-up of the supplier team.
• Performs a range of technical activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Carries out standard and non standard installation, commissioning and integration work to customer equipment and installations according the rules and prescriptions. Reports faults and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Provide test documentation, reports, acceptance certificates
.
