Senior Buyer (Lead Analyst - SCM Procurement) - Valinhos-SP



Description: 
The SCM Global Sourcing Leader is responsible to work close to both local and global SCM teams, focusing efforts in the other regions aiming to implement SA Global Sourcing strategy, what will improve SA’s competitiveness and help to impact FX fluctuations impact. This role is also responsible to support the development of new suppliers in the other regions, work with local teams to understand / manage suppliers’ capacity, risks and new part numbers development in order to have a sourcing flawless launch. This position is accountable for having worldwide experience in developing suppliers, introduce new part numbers into production and develop cost analysis to support the source strategy definition. This role will entail working with Senior Managers, Global Commodity Managers, Regions Global Sourcing Managers and interacting with similar positions worldwide.
A. Drive the optimization of SA Global Sourcing Strategy in the regions focusing on best cost sourcing strategy through the leverage of suppliers’ capacity and flexibility in a global basis to mitigate and/or minimize FX impact on the current and new business competitiveness.
B. Develop cost analysis aligned with regions’ local teams to support the definition of local suppliers in the regions that will help SA mitigate the impact of economic fluctuations upfront.
C. Work with Regions’ Procurement Managers to identify and perform business assessments on new potential global suppliers that can be part of Global Supplier Commodity Strategy in the regions.
D. Develop strategic quote approach when working with local teams to make sure cost is aligned in a worldwide basis to mitigate global suppliers sourcing conflicts / risks and achieving cost target goals.
E. Work with regions’ local teams on supplier selection, development and qualification, working together also with local SDE teams, focusing on the total cost concept and long term partnership.
F. Work with regions’ local teams to assess suppliers’ risks, capacity, capabilities, market competitiveness and quality standards delivery.
G. Work with regions’ local teams to develop new components in the region aiming to have sourcing flawless launches that will support cost out goals achievement.
H. Work with regions’ local teams to create long term supplier relationships that will lead to optimal pricing, process, quality improvements and on time performance delivery.
I. Prepare and present business case scenarios for global quotes developed to support sourcing decisions.

Minimum requisites: 
Technical:
- Knowledge of technical specifications
- Knowledge of product portfolio, applications and customers’ requirements
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis
- Fluent English
Administrative:
- Strong communication skills to drive consensus and action implementation in the proper time
- Very good analytical skills
- Experience in working with global teams
Education and Skills required to meet position qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Administration required
- Master degree in related field desirable
Experience:
- Experience including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Customer facing related roles.
