TI Engineer - SP

Morson International is looking an engineer with the following profile for a contract of initially 4 months (highly extendable) based in Sao Paulo

It has to be a 3G TRS Engineer (Nokia or Huawei vendor experience) with the following description:

• UMTS Radio Network Design, This resources must have verifiable experience in 3G trasnport network design , should be available to work primarily in San Pablo, Brazil

Activities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Routing, Pre-TSS, TSS, LOS, Path Profile, Link Budget, Link Design, Licensing, database update, handover, (up to BOQ);
• Based on short, medium and long term network evolution plans; predict, plan and envisage network future growth adapting the Transmission Network.
• Creation of MW link budget for the MW links design;
• Managing and keeping the update of the Microwave Transmission Network topology;
• Defining and detailing the transmission needs for the supervision and management systems associated with the transmission network;
• Planning for extension of fibre routes directly to Transmission PoP/Hub Sites;
• Planning for SDH microwave backhaul onto the dark fibre network;
• Planning for Ethernet, MPLS, IP Backhaul Network;
• Planning for the network synchronization;
• Selection & evaluation of existing sites in close proximity to fibre routes for upgrade to POPs;
• MW link planning using Pathloss tool
• Co-ordination of site surveys, planning of new equipment cabins, towers, SDH MW planning
• Deliver Technical specifications;
• Microwave transmission network optimization;
• Transmission sites planning and location definition (HUB's, POP's and repeaters);
• Line-of-sight (LOS) activities definition, execution and coordination; path profile analysis.
