Senior Product Manager (Fully Bilingual Position) - Rio de Janeiro
PeixeUrbano (www.peixeurbano.com.br) is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is committed, scrappy, and autonomous looking to work in a fast pace environment to help build and define our next generation of features.
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and communicating a vision for future product development while concurrently managing current product offerings. The Senior Product Manager will report to the Head of Products and will work very closely with other teams within the company including engineering, marketing, business development and sales.
Responsibilities will include:
* Leading the charge: working with execs, engineering, and marketing to drive the roadmap;
* Defining business requirements: talking to customers, studying competitors and analyzing usage patterns to understand how to improve Peixe Urbano;
* Communicating ideas: creating wireframes & specs to get feature ideas hammered out, agreed upon and built;
* Designing product areas: writing specifications and collaborating with Designers to develop product ideas;
* Shipping each revision: partnering with engineering to ensure Peixe Urbano products are developed to spec, making trade-offs as needed for quality & the customer.
Requirements:
* Experience in consumer Internet;
* BS/BA degree in marketing, business or computer science;
* A track record of driving results;
* Quantitative abilities to analyze opportunities, optimize feature design and monitor and analyze business results;
* Experience working in a small to medium sized Internet company;
* Experience working in a dynamic agile development environment;
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
* Excellent judgement in making tradeoffs and finding simple solutions to complex problems;
* A can-do, roll-up-the sleeves attitude
* Fluent English, intermediate Spanish.
