Eaton Corporate currently has an opening for a Labor/ Compensation Manager located in Valinhos/SP, Brazil.
The incumbent is responsible to support the execution of the South America Labor Strategy in all SA VG plants. Additionally, will implement effective compensation strategies, practices and processes which promote, facilitate and support the accomplishment of the strategic business plans and goals of the VGSA, while remaining in accordance with Eaton Values and Philosophy. The position is also responsible for developing and deploying positive employee relations systems and processes throughout all operations in SA Vehicle Group.
The essential functions which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position are described below:
Support the development and execution of South America Labor Strategy,
Assist facilities in identifying and eliminating high risk practices, which expose them to legal liability and/or union organization activities and also finding labor alternatives to support business productivity or better utilization of capacity,
Make sure that all labor agreements at Eaton sites are updated and verify if they are being respected, renewing them proactively to provide capital-labor balance,
Follow labor and union tendencies, benchmark best strategies and practices, network with other companies and companies association,
When necessary, represent Eaton at the labor annual negotiation process and support all key individual negotiation process at SA plants,
Manages compensation programs for Vehicle Group South America operations and supports South America Headquarter leadership, according to Compensation Eaton Philosophy,
Recommends compensation premises to support HR/Finance Teams on annual strategic & profit plan processes,
Insures consistency of SA salary grade administration by validating job evaluations and coordinating with corporate resources to make sure that regional consistency is also maintained,
Work with the Ethics Office and the Office of the Ombudsman to confidentially investigate and resolve issues,
Develop and enforce a standardized workplace policies and practices checklist that ensures compliance with Eaton Philosophy Work Practices and/or local legal requirements."
