Position Title: Product Manager

Location: Northeastern Ohio

Company Brief: Automotive aftermarket components

Compensation: $55 - $60K salary + bonus, benefits and relocation assistance

REQUIREMENTS:

* 2+ years experience in a product management capacity

* Familiarity with market space, competitors, and major trends

* Basic understanding of product definition through launch

* Understanding of maintaining and increasing product margins and market share

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Experience with high performance parts and / or engine components a plus

DESCRIPTION:

* Research and development of new products based on market trends and customer demand

* Assist in the preparation of business plans for all new products and present to senior management for approval

* Coordinate new product activities with Purchasing, Engineering, Marketing, Production / Operations and Sales to ensure on-time and within budget

* Use standard business tools to track and report progress to senior management

* Work with appropriate groups as required to resolve customer or supplier issues

* Perform follow up activities as part of the new project process to review and report the level of success for all new projects

* Travel with sale managers and manufacturers representatives as needed

* Support target market/ customers and a marketing plan to promote the new products

* Help quality department and the suppliers that insures product reliability

* Attend and assist at trade shows as required
