ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
1. Provides management with significant insight into the company financial performance leading to the effective utilization of resources and maximum operating income and cash flow performance.
2. Provides financial reporting (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow) to the company including monthly closing.
3. Provides support for the Group Forecasts utilizing Hyperion to enable the proper expense reporting to the Departmental managers.
4. Continuously monitors and supports actions to manage controllable assets. Supports and implements actions to maximize operating cash flow via management of related matters including inventories, payables, receivables, depreciation, capital and expense spending and profits.
5. Ensures that appropriate systems and procedures are in place, which provide for the necessary controls and safeguarding of assets and the efficient execution of financial activities (general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.). This includes compliance with all aspects of Sarbanes-Oxley.
6. Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.
7. Prepares financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
8. Prepares consolidated forecasts and budgets and analyzes trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.
9. Assists with special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
10. Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
11. Maintains and coordinates group completion of financial review templates and meetings.
12. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
13. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
14. Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
15. Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
16. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
17. Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
18. Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
19. Prepare presentations to Senior Management Team

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experienced in multinational companies or local companies (important and relevant at national level).
2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
3. Must be detail oriented, analytical and have strong communication and customer service skills
4. Strong understanding and experience in financial operations on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
5. Good understanding of US GAAP
6. Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
7. English language verbal and oral skills are must
8. Able to communicate and work with people at different job levels
9. Experienced in Financial Share Services (FSS) organization. Providing accounting/financia l services to Latin America's countries. Dealing with multicultural issues.
10. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
11. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
13. Excellent time management skills.
14. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfortable working within a consolidation software system (Hyperion)
