Job Opportunity – Director, Services Sourcing

We are a Singapore Headquartered Recruitment Consulting Company. Our client in the MIDDLE EAST from the TELECOMMUNICATIONS industry is looking to hire a " DIRECTOR, SERVICES SOURCING " for a permanent assignment. The following are the skills required for the position.

JOB PURPOSE :

Expert support resource for network implementation issues and solutions.

Core Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed procurement benchmarking for the OpCo's, and assisting them in optimising their spending in the field.
• Keeping abreast of changes in the telecom services and ancillary industry.
• Monitoring price points and supply market trends, particularly in low cost countries.
• Establish strong vendor relations in low cost country markets, particularly China and India.
• Manage and maintain preferred Vendors list.
• Knowledge of proven telecom supply companies.
• Conduct market benchmarking of ancillary materials and services costs.
• Develop, manage and maintain supplier evaluation systems/ processes.
• Conduct formal supplier audits.
• Manage and maintain spend analysis reports and associated software procurement tools.
• Responsible for managing eAuction tools, developing sourcing processes, implementing lotting strategies, and conducting/ organising supplier training across the Group.
• Maintain strong communication channels with a range of stakeholder.
• Proactive involvement in understanding complex technical requirements and normalised comparisons.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 12 years full time working experience of which 5 years should predominantly be in Telecom Industry
• Holder of Bachelor Degree, in one of: Business, Commerce, Engineering, Science.
